Okay, the first thing you need is the domain name. Yeah, we have some tools, but the best way to really find out what and how is to talk to Sam. You can email him at either the 613 email or at
topgunhosts@yahoo.com. HE can advise you much better than me, I just own the server, he does almost ALL the work. I know we have a thing called xoops, and that is how the 613th and 708th sites were made. HTML was used on cobsbonsai.com and there forums and my web site are php. There are templets.
As for cost, that all goes as to what you need and want. But, I say again, talk to Sam. To be honest, I own around 1/2 dozens sites and Sam has set up almost all of them.
BTW, if you go to yahoo to get the domain name, you can get it for around $2.00 and don't have to buy web space from them. In order to get the low price on go daddy, you have to get web space also. In the long run yahoo and using us is cheaper. I know, we have checked it out. They may have more 'bells and whistles', but as I found out (with much fear) building a site isn't really that hard once you have a little help. Ask Krazy, we host his site. When I say building it isn't that hard, I don't mean getting it exactly like you want. That takes some time and work, but if you want easy, there is easy.
